Navigating Venue.sh
Moving quickly between catalog data, integrations, and insights helps you stay in flow instead of hunting through menus. Venue.sh gives you three ways to get around: the sidebar, a keyboard shortcut that jumps to any destination, and a Search page for finding content inside your catalog and documentation.
Global Shortcut
Press ⌘K on Mac or Ctrl+K elsewhere to open the global shortcut dialog from anywhere in the dashboard. You can also click the shortcut control in the header.
- Press ⌘K or Ctrl+K.
- Start typing the name of the destination you want, or a common alias for it.
- Use the arrow keys to move through the results and press Enter to go there.
Press Escape or the same shortcut again to close the dialog without navigating.
Matching works on both the destination name and its aliases, so typing docs finds Tech Docs, audit finds Activity Log, and metrics finds Development Insights.
Available Destinations
Destinations are grouped by category. You only see the ones your role can access and your organization has enabled.

If a destination is missing from the list, either your role does not include read permission for it or the feature is not enabled for your organization. See RBAC.
The global shortcut moves you between pages. To search the contents of your catalog and documentation, use the Search page described below.
Search
Search finds content inside your Venue instance rather than navigating to a page. Open it from the sidebar, or jump to it with the global shortcut.
Use it to look across your indexed product data, including catalog entities and technical documentation. Filter or switch tabs to narrow results to the kind of content you want.
Sidebar
The sidebar groups destinations by area:
- Developer portal - Home, Search, Catalog, APIs, Tech Docs, Templates
- AI - Assistant, Agents, MCP Servers, Skills
- Integrations - Connections, Imports, Plugins
- Insights - Development Insights, Scorecards, Activity Log
As with the global shortcut, the sidebar only shows what your role can access.
Header Controls
The upper-right corner of every screen has:
- Users & Teams - Manage people and teams. See Users and Teams.
- Settings - Your account and organization configuration. See Settings.
- Assistant sidebar - Open the Assistant next to whatever page you are on. See Assistant.
